VETERAN’S EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS:

Vantage Career Center has seven programs that have been approved by the State Approving Agency of Ohio for the training and education of veterans, dependents and members of the National Guard and Reserves who qualify for VA Educational Benefits. First time applicants can apply by submitting a Veterans On-Line Application (VONAPP). A direct link to VONAPP can be found under Links and Forms to the right.

Veterans who have previously used their benefits will need to complete the VA 22-1995 Request for a Change of Location or Place of Training form.  This also can be found on the VONAPP site.  When completing the 22-1995 online, print a copy to submit to the financial aid office.

Veterans who intend to use their VA Educational Benefits must submit their Letter of Eligibility obtained from the VA along with a completed Enrollment Certification & Prior Credit Evaluation form to the Financial Aid Office.  Form is available under Links and Forms to the right.  The school will not certify the veteran until all documents have been submitted.  The VA will not disburse funds until the school has completed the certification.

Eligible Programs include: Police Academy, Practical Nursing, LPN-RN Transition, Phlebotomy, Medical Assisting, State Tested Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, CDL and Welding.
